One last time

Senior year goes by in a blink.

The last first day. The dance. The tears at the end. The hug you did not want to let go of. Keep each moment while it is happening, because in June the hallways go quiet.

Senior year goes fast. Your best moments? Buried in your camera roll. Not anymore. CardMySeniorYear turns any photo into a keepsake card. In seconds. In your school colors. The dance. The tears. The cap toss. Your school and class year, on the back. Every card numbered. Collect the whole year. Free to start. No signal needed. CardMySeniorYear. Keep the year.

How it works

Three steps. One whole senior year.

Set it up once. After that it all happens on your phone, at the game, at the dance or on the quad, with or without a signal.

01

Set up your school

Pick High school or College, then type your school, your city and your class year, once. Every card you make carries them on the back, so the set tells the story of your year.

02

Card each moment

Take the photo, drop it in, pick the moment and your school colors. The card is made on your phone in seconds. No signal needed.

03

Share the set

Send cards to family and friends, post them, or keep the whole numbered set in your vault. One link lets everybody add their own photos.

No signal, no problem

It works when your signal does not.

A packed gym, a stadium parking lot, a prom venue and a campus dead zone all eat your signal. Making a card never needs it. Here is exactly what works with no signal, and what has to wait.

✦ Open it once, at home.

The Studio saves itself to your phone the first time you open it with a signal. Do that on your home wifi, then add it to your home screen. After that it opens with no signal at all.

  1. Open CardMySeniorYear in your phone’s browser while you still have a signal.
  2. Add it to your home screen. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap Install.
  3. Open it once from the icon. Turn on airplane mode and try it. If the Studio opens, you are set.
✦Works with no signal
  • Taking the photo and dropping it in
  • Cropping, zooming and reframing
  • Every layout, school color and finish
  • Making the card and numbering the set
  • Saving it to your vault
  • Saving the picture to your photos
  • Handing it phone to phone with AirDrop or Quick Share
✦Waits until you are back online
  • Texting, emailing or posting it
  • Opening the code on someone else’s phone
  • Signing in on a second device

Nothing is lost while you wait. It sits in your vault until the signal comes back.

✦ How a senior year actually goes

1. Set up your school at home and open the Studio once. 2. Make a card whenever a moment happens, signal or not. 3. Hand them round phone to phone, or post them when you are back online. 4. The whole set is already in your vault, with everybody’s name on it.

Your cards do not expire. The serial and the code stay valid, so a card made today still opens in ten years. Photo projects elsewhere quietly disappear when a subscription lapses or an app shuts down. These do not.

CardMySeniorYear is digital only. It does not print or mail anything. Every card is a picture on your phone that you can share, post or print wherever you like.

Questions

Before you start.

Is this for high school seniors or college seniors?
Both. Pick High school or College when you set up your school. The moments are the same, except the prom is a high school night and the senior formal is its college cousin.
Does it really work with no signal?
Yes, once you have opened it with a signal first. Open CardMySeniorYear on your phone and add it to your home screen. After that, making, numbering and saving cards all happen on your phone. Sharing needs a connection, which you can do later.
Do I have to install an app?
There is no app store download. CardMySeniorYear is a web app you add to your home screen. On iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, tap Install.
Are my photos uploaded?
No. Your photo stays on your phone. Only the finished card is uploaded, and only when you share it or save it to an account.
Do you print cards?
No. CardMySeniorYear is digital only. You can save any card as a picture and print it wherever you like.
What if I lose my phone?
Cards saved to your account follow you. Sign in with your email on a new phone and they are all there.
Is this connected to my school?
No. CardMySeniorYear is an independent service and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any school, college, school district or yearbook company. Your school name on a card is text you type, and your school colors are just colors.
Is it free?
The Studio is free to start, and every school color is free. One paid plan, $39.99 for your whole senior year, adds the gold foil, coin and arch finish and unlimited sets. Free cards use the Standard look; the Pass is paid once and does not renew.
Can I delete my account and my cards?
Yes, at any time, from inside the Studio or from cardmysenioryear.com/delete-account. Nothing has to be requested by email.
